Don Romanello

Obituary

The golf buddies and direct lineal descendants of Don Anthony Romanello are sad to announce that Don crossed this mortal plain on May 26, 2009 after a short illness.  A true Florida Native, Don was born in Fort Pierce, Florida on August 10, 1948 and attended Stetson University and the University of Florida College of Law.  He served in the United States Army and practiced law in Jacksonville, Florida for more than 30 years.  Don is survived by his five children: Duane, Brian (Brittany), Shannon, Lara and Tori; Five Grandchildren:  Mia, Isabella, Ella, Ava and Gabriella; Two Siblings: Mona Smith and Robert Romanello; His beloved neighbor lady Jane Fabritius; and numerous dogs who will miss sleeping in his bed after a hard day of swimming in the lake.  An informal celebration of Don's life will take place at Don's lake house in Keystone Heights on June 20, 2009 at 11:00 am.  All those who know the location of Don's lake house are invited to attend this informal ceremony.  If you don't have directions please call Don's office.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Community Hospice of NE Florida.  Arrangements by GIDDENS-REED FUNERAL HOME (904-387-0055).  Please Sign the Guestbook @ Jacksonville.com
